TEC 1S-2018 | Internet of Things

This semester at the Tecnológico de Costa Rica (1S-2018), we did a project aimed at the «Internet of Things.» The idea was to imagine that the new intelligent speakers (like Alexa of Amazon, Siri of apple or Hi Google) can project an image and communicate with the user.

The concept then included visualization of the music being played, viewing of WhatsApp or Twitter notifications, and display of the voice commands given to the wizard, as well as its sound when it responds.

The following works are part of the results.

Este semestre en el Tecnológico de Costa Rica (1S-2018), hicimos un proyecto orientado al «Internet de las Cosas». La idea era imaginar que los nuevos altavoces inteligentes (como Alexa de Amazon, Siri de apple o Hi Google) puedan proyectar una imagen y comunicarse con el usuario.

El concepto incluía entonces la visualización de la música que se está reproduciendo, la visualización de las notificaciones de WhatsApp o Twitter y la visualización de las órdenes de voz que se le dan al asistente, así como su sonido cuando responde.
