TEC 1S 2013 | augmented elasticity

this semester, the topic of augmented elasticity was taken as a theme.
the idea was to take an elastic surface and turn it into an interface surface with which to experience some of the connection between physical reality and virtual reality. inside the box, microsoft® kinect was used to monitor movements of the fabric so that it could «see» where the user was pressing.

en este semestre se tomó como tema la elasticidad aumentada. la idea era tomar una superficie elástica y convertirla en una superficie de interface con la que se pudiera experimentar algo de la conexión entre la realidad física y la realidad virtual. al interior de la caja se usó de kinect de microsoft® para monitorear movimientos de la tela y así poder «ver» donde presionaba el usuario.
